The Curriculum is completely aligned with NEP 2020 and the NCFSE and takes an inter-disciplinary approach to the Teaching-learning Process at Navkis.

VISUAL PERFORMANCE & ARTS

At Navkis Educational Centre, Kogilu, children from Grade 1 to Grade 8 take part in Visual and Performing Arts classes once a week. Each session, lasting between 40 and 80 minutes, is carefully planned to make learning creative and joyful.

Classes usually begin with a short warm-up or an introduction to the day’s theme, followed by hands-on activities where students explore drawing, painting, music, movement, or drama. Teachers guide them step by step, encouraging free expression and introducing age-appropriate techniques. Children work individually and in groups, which helps them share ideas, learn teamwork, and showcase their creativity.
